David Hyde-Pierce, who portrayed bumbling socialite "Niles" in the hit sitcom Frasier has formed an ancient Egyptian mythology-themed technical death metal band of his character’s namesake.
After a slew of successful live dates in Seattle and Cairo: Niles have been hailed as “death metal’s saviours” and “the death metal Iron Maiden.”
Full-length Grey Seeds of Nonchalance is tentatively scheduled for an early 2008 release on Recrapse records and is already hotly tipped to sweep the board at next year’s Grammies.
